  1. I found that the MyGenius (just a sofware loading tool optimized for Motronic) is VIN specific so it can't be used on separate vehicles but if an improved or modified software is available they can just E-mail it to you where you load it into the MyGenius and reflash it. The problem I see with some of the ECU removal ones is whether they are soldering on a new chip, if so they you can't easily go back to OEM software when you sell it or take it to a dealer for work. I'm not sure of Upsolute, but why would they need it removed rather than just run by a dealer? MTM is a great German tuning company but they also solder on their own chip.
  2. As Wvicary said, clean any and all connections with a good contact cleaner / enhancer. When all gears light up like that in the selector means the Transmission Control unit has a fault and it is in limp mode. Here is a very good cleaner / enhancer, you might find it on Amazon cheap, it's called ProGold.
  3. Sorry about that, didn't notice the location. If you can go to a Bosch retailer there you might be able to get it cheaper, the Bosch short # is 16498.
  4. Here AutohausAZ has the OEM Bosch units for $119.25 http://www.autohausa...1417935@CAYENNE TURBO&year=2003&cid=19@Emission System&gid=5132@Oxygen Sensor Fairly easy to get at from underneath, the aft O2 sensors are between the pre-cats & the main cats. Tie a string or piece of wire to the old sensor and pull it up from the top then fasten the new sensors connector to the bottom of the string so you can pull it up from on top. You may have to wiggle it and guide it a little bit to keep it from catching on things, sometimes helps to tape up the end of the connector so it is less likely to catch on things as you pull it through.
  5. No, I'm not using their software yet but I did send them an E-mail yesterday asking if I could use the MyGenius tool for both of my Audi's as well as the Cayenne. I am on the Audi RS6 forum and they (Eurocharged) have become one of the top software tuners for RS6 guys and they are well thought of as one of the newer software tuners on the 911 Turbo site.
  6. Don't forget these guys. I have heard great things about them from Audi guys and 911 Turbo guys. I guess they will also customize a tune if your close by with your vehicle on a Dyno, that would be optimum. Eurocharged also sells the MyGenuius loading tool so you can do it yourself.
  7. Talked to Kuhnke and they won't sell it separately. Mine says TNR614 on it and Porsche # 7L5.959.775 but when I look it up the part # is 955 645 290 00 which is about $1550.
  8. Resurrecting this thread. Did you ever figure it out? I plan on getting mine working again too. Was there a Kuhnke part # on the camera?
  9. Yea, remember all the advertising Splitfire did years ago and the inflated price they had. There was no independent Dyno results showing Splitfires had any gains and some magazine articles with Dyno tests showed losses. I can't find any independent Dyno tests of the E3's yet either and I'll make a bet that in a couple of years they'll be a quarter the price fo what their selling for now after more negative publicity on their performance.
  10. I also have the Fabspeeds and they were a perfect fit. I would have bought cheaper ones if they were available as they probably really don't need to be Stainless, or polished, at least not here in WA state as we don't salt the roads but there was no cheaper alternative at the time. I thought about making something up myself as I did in my Viper but they were simple straight pipes with band clamps. To bend them properly and get a flange on them isn't worth my time for the price and I wouldn't want to cut the flange off the other end just to use band clamps.
  11. P.S. found the 17157 & 17158 on Amazon for $82.48. That's a real good deal for OEM Bosch sensors and not some cut & splice aftermarket or universal units.
  12. Pretty sure the front's are 5 wire widebands and the rears are narrow band. The Bosch short number for yours that works great in a Google search and many times Amazon has the best deals are 17158 for the front left and 17157 for the front right. Without too much searching I found them on Autohausz AZ for $102 and they are a great parts place. http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=005evkvzsceavc455geshoew&makeid=800019@Porsche&modelid=1432825@CAYENNE S&year=2006&cid=19@Emission System&gid=5132@OxygenSensor
  13. Take a picture of the options code sticker in the trunk by the spare tire or subwoofer and then it'll be easy to decipher.
  14. Probably get a few horsepower with the Secondary Cat bypass but your not going to get anything with an air filter swap on a Cayenne S as the Turbo uses the same air filter setup and if it works for the Turbo (with a much higer airflow requirement) it's going to be more than enough for an 'S'. If you can get the Secondary Cat bypasses cheap enough or DIY then it will give you something but don't expect a big difference.
  15. I've got a '06 Cayenne Turbo S also, about 58K miles and it's really been a trouble free vehicle. Did have the Aluminum coolant pipes installed on warranty though. I installed a set of Secondary Cat Bypass pipes and have also changed the front, rear, and transfer case fluid, will be doing the tranny fluid in the next month or two. I know the Cardan shaft will need a replacement in the next 10~20K but it's fine for now and is a great ride. I've also upgraded to EBC Yellow pads and installed a Mobridge Bluetooth which are both big improvements. With the warranty I wouldn't shy away from it.
  16. As R. Hamilton is alluding to, if you have the new maps, late '05 or later, they won't work with the Level A software you are running but will work if you upgrade to the later software, at least Level B will be needed. Your old unit may very well have had a later software version and you may have had the later maps to go with that later software version whereas the new unit, although hardware compatible, needs a software update to work properly with newer maps.
  17. Ok, I see from your other post today that your software version that the unit has level A software (04035) so you will need to update it to level B per TSB 3107 enu 9110.
  18. Ok, I see from your software version that the unit has level A software (04035) so you will need to update it to level B per TSB 3107 enu 9110.
  19. I would try to get a hold of the latest update disc (DVD) set (3 disc), one is an update disc for the PCM software (you put it in the PCM headunit), one is an update for the NAV drive unit (you put it in the NAV drive unit under the seat), and the other is just the new Nav maps DVD. If you are a contributing member on the list here you can go into the DIY section and download the Porsche TSB that has a step by step on updating the system. Without that you will probably have to take it to the dealer and have them do it. Probably only about 1/2~1hr of labour charged and the cost of the DVD discs.
  20. In N. America we got the DVD PCM2.1 in 2005. And double check as the BE 6663 PCM unit you list is a PCM2.1 unit. If you still have the old unit check the sticker on the side, it should say PCM2.1E1 on the side. The BE6654 is also a PCM2.1 unit so you should be fine if you get the DVD based Nav disc. If you get the whole set from Porsche or a friend you can check it all for the latest software upgrade. As mentioned let us know the software version of your unit.
  21. When the gear icons in the dash are all lit up like that indicates a fault in the Transmission control unit which should be able to be scanned to show the fault. If it is a intermittent or transient fault it can usually be cleared but turning off the car and restarting but a permanent fault must be fixed and then the code cleared.
  22. I see that one is FM modulated. The dealer installed a Porsche hardwire Ipod connector kit in my '06 CTTS a few years ago. You just hit the CD button to go from the CD to the Ipod. It workds great and is controlled from the radio head but with a Iphone it won't charge the phone like an Ipod, I guess because it was designed for the older Ipods when the kit was made and the power compatibility must be slightly different for the Iphone. Even though it is FM modulated at least the kit you posted does have an Aux connector that you could probably also use for MP3's.
  23. As Mudman said: Mobridge Yes No I have the Mobridge in my Cayenne and I'm very happy with it. Not as good as the Nav/Bluetooth in my Audi (Audi syncs up everthing, Phonebook, missed & dialed calls, received calls). Mobridge only syncs up Phonebook and only logs missed, dialed & received calls made while your using it, not ones you've made on your phone away from the vehicle. Sound quality is quite good. I mounted my microphone (has a long cord) next to the overhead sunroof panel. Most mount the Mobridge under the glove box but I chose to mount it in the right rear compartment next to the CD player I had to remove anyways to plug the Mobridge in.
