  1. My car does not have that option at all. It is a 05 C2S without SC. Do you know why I can not see radio option on my instrument cluster display ? Is there a way to add it to the menu ?
  2. I found this one also in a Germany website. It is also a heat shield but with the part number given in the website I dont find it in PET.
  3. By saying the heat shields being changed, do you mean the ones that are on top of the mufflers ? (In the pictures you can see them left and right with the mufflers removed ). I dont see them getting screwed to the bumper as they are screwed to the chassis .
  4. Do I need the center air routing that routes the air to center radiator. I believe my car has one I saw it. Or do I jist buy them for left and right ?
  5. Tunetec I have the exact year, same color C2S as well. I purchased the aerokit front bumper (which is a bit different) and plan to put a front and rear spoiler to bring it to a 997.2 Aerokit look. Also will be buying the mirrors and turbo 2 wheels afterwards. Hope the result turns out to be good. I forgot to mention the dynamic cornering headlights ( just for visual I know the cornering wont function) . So I dont wanna be a PIA, but have some last questions. When purchasing the hose you just bought a spare hose and a T connector and added this to the existing one? What exactly you putchased from the dealer? The metal strap is riveted to the bumper you said. So when removing the gen 1 bumper, I will remove the rivets and after the gen 2 is installed have it re-riveted to te new bumper? ( is it simple to do? ) You said the view of the heat shields wont be good. But this is only when the car is on a lift or something right ? How much you paid for the heat shields? Assuming the exhaust trims are expensive which I have bought also , the heat shields will be pricey ? Thanks
  6. Tunetec Thanks for outlining the whole process along with the parts needed. This will be a very useful guide for me during the process. Although I have couple question marks in my head. 1- Can I have a part number for the washer hose ? Also does the metal nozzles at the very top also needs to be replaced? 2- ''USE THE BOTTOM CENTRE OF THE OLD GEN 1 BUMPER METAL STRIP TO ATTACH TO YOU NEW GEN 2 BUMPER. YOU WIL NEED THE OLD POT RIVETS DRILLING OUT AND REFIXING TO YOUR NEW BUMPER'' i did not understand which part you are talking about here ? 3- I heard that some people trim their old heat shield a little bit to fit it to the new gen bumper. What is tne problem with the old ones? Are they too big? How much did you pay for the new one ? Thanks a lot
  7. Can you please the list of parts that you had to purchase (with part numvers if possible) for the rear conversion I would appreciate it. I have purchased the bumpers and the all taillights and LEDs just in the need for the other parts. Thanks
  8. I was so hopeless that noone replied so I stopped looking to my thread until now. I have bought the sport design bumper as well and pretty ,uch everything except the rear bumper and the little stuf like rad shrouds and washer nozzles and grilles etc. Your post is very informing. But I do still have some questions on mind. Does the bumper fits right on? Do you need to buy any new stuff for the fitment like bumper inner supports and etc.? I have spoken to someone who did the same conversion and he told me that fender liner at the front that mounts to the front bumper is also needed to changed to 09> model. ? You said that the washer nozzles needed to change. Is it only the top part of the nozzles that needs to be changed? Does the new jets at tne very top fits to the bottom part of the washers? Is it possible to buy the front lip spoiler and make it a aerokit front bumper? Because the only difference seems like the front lip. I dont know if you are going to read this post since it has been 2 months you put a reply here but if you do and can answer these questions I would highly appreciate it. Thanks
  9. I know that you need that for the rear. But i dont know whether you need it for the front LEDs . I have searched everywhere but could not come up with an satisfiable answer.
  10. Hi all Recently purchased a used 05 c2S and planning to update the car to the 997.2 look but have some question marks about the parts. I am planning to buy parts seperately (not as a kit) from different websites. My question is does the front led DRL s need any control units to work perfectly as in the rear LED taillights. My car is Euro spec, I know that US spec and EU spec tallights differ in terms of signal bulbs. Is there such difference in the front DRLs in Porsche? Thanks in advance.
