  1. Solved :clapping: There was a small hole in the hot-air hose ....and the aluminium housing of the CCB kept all the heat
  2. @ baysideC4 - Do you have an adress from those guys ? Do you think they'll ship overseas ? [EDIT] Sorry, didn't spot the link straightaway :censored: [/EDIT]
  3. Indeed :) Probably I came up with another name because I translated the German word to Dutch and then to English :cursing:
  4. I thought the DME was located under the drivers-seat (lefthanddrive) :lightbulb: although the Central Control Box seems to be part of the DME system ;)
  5. It does ... but unfortunately the Porsche is parked at the otherside of the channel :( .... I'm currently in the UK <_< For a lefthand drive you can find it, sitting in the drivers-seat and dropping your left-hand from the steering-wheel. Now move your hand under the dashboard and move up ... there you'll find an aluminium box - a bit bigger than a packet of cigarettes :lightbulb: Its mounted on a small frame - which is mounted with two 10mm plastic nuts :wrench: to the body of the car - there are two connectors on the box.
  6. Recently I noted that the central controlbox in my 964 is overheating. It's quit normal that it gets a little warm - but this one is :cursing: HOT - If it wasn't mounted upsidedown underneat the dashboard you could fry an egg on it .... Used the Bosch 'Hammer' to eliminate 'failing' objects .... finding myself changing out the lambda-sonde ... It hasn't changed :( When I'm having the windows closed and the roof shut, the airco off - then it'll take a bit longer to heat up (but it still does). When I'm either running the AC or having the top down .... it starts 'cooking' within half an hour or so (this is when driving offcourse). Anyone familiar with this problem ? Thanks in advance  Olaf
  7. Is optional - not every 964 is equipped with that <_< I hope they managed to open the hood without damaging it :lightbulb:
