Ok, I went and purchased a muffler. I got a regular S model made for my 01 S Boxster. Now I need one more part, I think? I'm looking at my 6 speed manual transmission and all I have is four bolts finger tightend into the housing. I know I need the part that these bolts hold in place to hang my muffler from. Does anyone know for certain the part number. Also an exploded view of this area would be great. Thanking you guys in advance for your patience Max :unsure:

Sirs, I need a new muffler for my 01 S Boxster. I have a line on an 03 S muffler and I think I can get it a reasonable price? Will this 03 unit work on my 01? Bruce

Sir, I am a new owner of a Boxster "S" 2001. I do not have an owners manual and I have not figured out how to trigger the latch on the gas lid? I am guessing that this has something to do with the security system but I may be wrong, I tend to be in that position a lot these days. I have looked all over the car for switches and latches but so far have not been successful? Help, probably some little thing that I am over looking. Realy looking forward to getting the owners manual which I have had on order for about 2 months now. <_<
