  1. Halo, I have a 98 Boxster: Becker CR-210 pr-vers R1996 SN: V5006789 I pulled the fuse on accident and locked myself out. I don't even want to drive without music :( EDIT: After doing a little googling, I found a code generator here: http://www.a2dvoices...sche/index.html It worked on the first try.
  2. I'm full of questions today. So, I wrapped my Boxster around a telephone pole and I've decided to to put money into this poor car that probably doesn't deserve it. First, the damage... Now, I've got this guy who does body work and owes me big favor so now I'm going to cash in on it. The only thing is that I have to buy the parts. First thing I did was type Boxster Bumper into ebay and I saw all these body kits. Some of them looked really hot but what got me was that were cheaper than the OEM parts! So my first question is: What is the compatibility of Boxster parts? Can I put just any rear Boxster bumper on my 99? Easily? The fact that THESE GUYS are claiming their kits fit on 97-04 models tells me that front fenders, bumper and hood are all interchangeable for any Boxster from 99-04. Am I wrong in thinking this way? Stop me before I start buying 03 door panels and to find out they don't fit. Second question: What are the names of the back panels behind the doors? I typed in rear fender and got nothing. Third question: Am I looking in the wrong place for parts? Is there some secret place to find quality Porsche parts for cheap? Thanks for all your help, I'm going to keep updating as I progress.
  3. 75mph on the interstate and the red LED on my temperature gauge starts blinking. Before I can get to the next exit my check engine light (CEL) starts rapidly flashing. I put it in neutral and coast off to the shoulder and the car shuts off and every light on the dash comes on. I wait 30 minutes but the car will not turn over again, but it really wants to. It says "vrig-jig-jig-jig-jig-j-j-jig" Please tell me what's wrong with my Boxcutter? Tell me what to do, I'll do it. I will jack this thing up and pull out whatever you want me to. I will buy parts, I will replace them- I will suck your **** before but I go to the Porsche dealer. (Please don't tell me I have to replace the engine. I will hunt you down and kill you. haha, just kidding... well not really)
