  1. not sure about the speedo face but all Porsche's have the ability to switch the digital speed display, temp. etc. and any info on the on-board computer between imperial and metric
  2. I need this because I found a private party willing to sell me a set of wheels they claim came off an 04TT...However, although the outer valve cap has the newer style metal nut, the inside of the wheel does not show any 'cutouts' in the spokes and I am very confused.... Any differences in part numbers would be helpful too TIA
  3. Not sure there - I change both oil and filters at every 3000-3500 miles...
  4. if you look on the Gemballa home page they make one too....
  5. I think it might be under the gas tank lid actually...
  6. If you need any Techart parts contact Arling at Lucent Motorsports http://www.lucentmotors.com Tell him Mansour sent you and he'll 'hook you up'... big ;)
  7. not sure fi this helps but cxheck it out... http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthr...=&threadid=3478
  8. that is a good deal for BRAND NEW 0 mile seats...otherwise 1500 would be better PM LJH996TT on 6speed (www.6speedonline.com)as he did the exact upgrade when he bought my sport seats so he now has full electrical sports with MEMORY!!! (I uograded to full electric and will try to see if the memory feature can be added soon..)
  9. I had a 99 C2 cab without sport seats and I used to get back and shoulder pains from long drives (like from Boston to NYC)...with the sport seats this is not the case...I am not old and have no history of back pain...must be that the sports seats offer better anatomical support
  10. The RUF one also has a side plate...see my sig...I actually removed the plastic footrest and put the RUF instead of drilling into it... Also, I believe ALL aftermarket pedals require drilling...
  11. I think either is fine...the one thing I like about the RUF more is that the dead pedal does not have a 'missing' rubber-dot line like above...check my sig for pics of the RUFs...Any other day Id go for Gerts but the current exchange rate really sux!! (I think RUF must have lowered their price too cause if I remeber I paid 480 Euro for mine shippied from RUF Gmbh in Germany)
  12. Add realignemnt cost to that too...My PSS-9 cost me around 900-1000 in total labor + realignment...
  13. You can just swap backs and it works...I sold a set os sport seats to a fellow board member on 6speed who did just that...I guess he now has the only full electric sport seats WITH memory in the US
  14. ANyone know the part number on those seat hook cover things??? on my 99 C4 the sport seats came with the crest on the back but on my TT it came with the hooks which I never use... Crest looks better IMO
  15. Also, im sure you know this by now (I didnt the first time I did it) but the green piece above should NOT be returned after putting the B&M!!
  16. This is why I want to try and see if I can retrofit the memory option on my now full electric sport seats...never wanna curb those HREs...
  17. I remember reading a thread somewhere of someone who did just that...Check on Rennlist.com I think (it was a while ago...).
  18. I think the blue one is ony fo revers?? on mine I adjusted the black one (more than 5 times!!) and ended up just reinstalling a stock shifter and marking the cables using the centering tools (I didnt mark them when I installed the B&M)
  19. B&M causing damage is rubbish cause I had it on my 99 C4 (18K miles) and 01 TT (9K miles) with no problems...The new Porsche factory short 'sport' shifter option has a part that is actually made by B&M and looks exactly like the one you and I got!! I actually plan on adding the under-car B&M to my car for an even shorter throw (The in car B&M shortens front more than rear gears if I remeber)
  20. I actually got a better deal recently from Foreign Affair Motorsports than from Sunset Imports...
  21. I bought the ebay one and it sits with all my mail and packages until I can return to the US :(
  22. Wnna get this part to fit on an S... Here is the link to a pic of what I am talking about... http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p55012.htm TIA
  23. is there a ways to have like a port replicator or y-junction to have 2 inouts into one AUX?? I guess switching inside becomes a problem then...
