A few simple steps to breeze through your tail light swap. I bought the smoked Taiwanese version. I hear there is a Chinese and a German version. I got my set from a seller on fleabay (ebay). I paid 375 with shipping. They were packaged very well, and undamaged upon opening. As described - no instructions. Some people will unplug their battery for any electrical work. I did not. A: Open Engine Hood You should see the one and only 10mm Bolt holding each tail light housing in place. Remove them. B: The light housing will pull towards you and slide off the front interior hook. C: Turn it over in your hand. You may unplug all of the light sockets by turning the socket counter-clockwise until it stops. D: Its as simple as pulling the old lights bulbs from the plugs with with a push and twist. E: Then plugging in the plugs from the new housing. You can use my pictures here to see where each plug goes. They go in different sockets when you use these LED tail lights. Note: The small parking bulb does not go back into its socket, you can see how it is stretched across for the other plugs to reach. Also, you must leave one clear bulb in for your backup light. And if you use your European rear fog light, you will need to leave a clear bulb plugged in to that socket. You can use the bulbs that were already there. No need to buy new ones or special ones. F: Fit the housing back on the front hook inside the well. Finish by sliding the housing in and replacing the 10mm bolts. One bolt for each side. They appear nice and bright. Fitment looks almost stock. I wish I had the german ones to compare.
