  1. Seems like the common location for pedal switches. I hope the one in the Porsche is easier to get at than the one in my old M3. That thing was a ridiculous PITA (brake light activation switch). Same thing, really, just a different pedal. Even so, better to deal with something that's as easy to understand as a plunger switch than the voodoo of a PDK if a fault occurs. :D
  2. You could just go for a Sinclair 911, if you're looking for something special and have that kind of scratch. But to answer your question, just look back at the historic time lags between model updates on new chassis. That should give you a pretty good idea of when to expect the new twin snail. And yes, I just bumped a very old thread. N00bsauce.

I found this link that has a number of alignment specs, but it seems many of them are for motorsports purposes. http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/997-gt2-gt3-forum/627816-autoquest-gavin.html I would think the car would come set up with a good bit of rear camber and less front camber for factory understeer, but admit that I do not have any reliable information on which to base that assumption.
  4. I think those are called canards. :) Dunno what Porsche calls them. And I could be wrong.
