  5. hi im hoping its not the head gasket ,I had a misfire on number 3 cylinder so I changed all the coil packs and sparkplugs put it all back together it ran fine for 1 day now every time I start the car I get a big puff of white smoke on from the left side exhaust ,it stops after a couple of seconds I have checked the water which I topped up with about a small glass full ( it has been at least a couple of months since I checked it ) .I have noticed a little oil coming from the sensor on top of the same side rocker ,not sure how to take it off so I will look on the site .is there anything I might have knocked off while changing the coils that might cause this? I have just moved across the country and my mechanic is around 500 miles away .. any help gratefully recieved

  17. hi guys I repainted my car about 6months ago it was a full re-spray windows out ,and to tell you the truth it came out really nice, at the same time it was painted I had the satin window and door trim painted matt black which in my opinion looks much nicer ,the painter used an etching primer first but it is starting to chip off as i use the car wash regularly ,I even had the painter re paint all of it as I didn't believe they had done the job correctly ,and its still chipping off .has anyone got any other suggestions ? I was scared of vinyl as the car wash uses a pressure washer and I don't want it to peel off ,was the car ever made with black moldings, I could really do with some help as the car doesn't look its best..

  20. Just a quick update and warning to others ,I changed the front tires to match the rears and the clunking has completely gone ,which has saved me some serious money, in future I will always change all 4 at once, it seems the difference in tire pattern was causing all the problems...
