  1. Hi jmbarroso I think that you should arrange a test drive of a demonstrator car from the Porsche dealership. This way you can immediately eliminate whether it is your mind or if there is an actual problem. Just give them a call and say that you want to do this at the time of dropping off your car. I have been in your situation before for something similar and was absolutely sure about performance and noises but had to give in to it being a figment of my imagination. I would still swear blind that I was right at the time, however I don't notice any issues now. As I said, the best judge i
  2. Csory, thanks for the info. It all helps! Congratulations with your new car! I'm sure you'll love it more and more each day - it feels so much more substantial than a Miata. Have fun!
  3. Easy. Create the playlist that you wish to burn. Go to Itunes>Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Burning and select MP3 CD. See attached image. Then burn. ;-)
  4. I particularly like their friendly returns policy..... ".....Therefore, we cannot offer a warranty, guarantee, or allow any returns of any kind..." made me chuckle to myself! S
  5. Thanks Loren, Just checked my version and it is 0402JD1 - looks like the OPC will need a bit of education on updated software. Still not sure if it will play MP3's though. Also I'll have to splash out £496 GBP on a new navigation DVD. Loren, what's the situation w.r.t. discussing where I got this info from? Or do I just say that I know that there was a TSB on Sept 7th 2005 discussing this? Regards Stu
  6. My car is a Jan '05 UK 987S w/PCM & Bose and just missed the April 05 change where the unit was able to play MP3's. Would someone know if a firmware update would fix this or be available? My OPC (Colchester, UK) says that it is not possible but I think that he is giving me the 'safe' answer. Failing this, I will have have to be patient and wait for the Denison MOST link (which I believe should be out Q1 2006??) and buy an iPod. This thread originally started over in the boxa.net forum and someone recommended I put it over here, at renntech. http://www.boxa.net/forum/index.php?sho
  7. Nice review and I agree entirely. I keep mine in sport mode most of the time. I especially like it on motorways (in the UK) you can literally flick the car from lane to lane with minimal body roll. Especially noticeable at high speeds. I see it as a major bonus. When in roadworks or speed bumps around town you just turn it off. I think the car (in standard guise) feels very tight and secure ... PASM enhances this feeling B) . Money well spent! I'd definitely spec it again. Hope this helps everyone.
  8. Can somebody please post a picture of the party which in fact is broken? Thx Oli <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Oli, I've just joined. I have the same problem and have attached the offending part (well, this was the offending part in my case!) Regards Stu
