  1. Is there a good solution available to replace the rear shock/TB setup with coilovers in a 944/1('84)?
  2. Can the UMI (WITH USB!) be retrofitted to a Gen 1 997 or does this require the new PCM? ( I am aware of the Denison and tooki and do not want those. I also am aware of the cost to retrofit a PCM 3 and do not want that either. Just to know if the UMI will work...)
  3. I don't think you can make it, but you may be able to ask it :) I do not know of any setting available within the OEM system. However, these folks do have a module you can add that has this ability I believe. http://www.mods4cars.com/
  4. All stations do the same thing and TP is off. Nothing has changed as far as settings from when it did work.
  5. Okay, 2008 997S purchased new about 4 months ago. Overactive Rear Spoiler: I have noticed this when I get into the car with the spoiler down and drive to say the other side of the mall (never exceeding about 30mph). When I turn the car off and get out the rear spoiler is up. Doesn't happen all the time, but often enough. PCM Going Verruckt: For the last few weeks I noticed the station and song title displaying in the gauge cluster was not changing. It read Madonna and some other crap. Well, this morning I get in and all I get is 4 dashes. The actual PCM display is fine, just nothing in the gauge cluster. PCM has the latest firmware and there are no diagnostics codes read. Any ideas?
  6. I believe there is more than one step to updating the PCM. After the first step you are supposed to leave the disc in and when the PCM comes back up you get this message and continue the update. So, I would guess the update on yours was not completed properly.
  7. Try 944online.com for a good used wheel/tire...
  8. I do not think this plate is standard on S's. There is not one present on my '08 S nor was there one on the '07 I had... FWIW, SunCoast sells the plate for about $99 that will fit 996 and 997, but not Turbo, GT2 or GT3...
  9. When I had my 2005 987 I had a changer added by the dealer. Even tho it showed the "!" it worked fine. That same car would not play MP3's and I couldn't get over it, so I bought a new 997 :) Anything for an excuse ya know...
