  1. This is probably an easy one for Loren...I had a vendor tell me they have PSE's with part numbers on the mufflers ending in .04.  I have heard of .00, .01, and .03, but I've never seen .04 mentioned on any forums.  Is this a correct part number, and if so, any ideas on the differences of the .04 with say the .01's?

    Thanks!

Typically the 04 referes to the car model year the part is for. Typically....

  2. Does anyone have pictures to show differences of the Auto vs. Manual Climate controls?

    Thanks

Hey Da'le, I have a picture but would have to scan it in from a book. Basically, it looks the same except there is an auto button that replaces the A/C Max buttom and the left side of the display indicates the degrees setting.

Since this requires a sun sensor, etc... I am wondering if we will be able to figure out a way to retrofit this in the future. Or, are these other items already present...

  3. I hope they work. I worked on the implementation of the SIM card application for the stores atmy company. They said you would be able to just take the SIM out and move it around from device to deviceat that time. A little disappointed, I go through phones like 2 a year or so just to have the latest and greatest and always have to buy news SIM cards. Wait a minute, I thought we were supposed to be able to move these around....

I was switching from one GSM phone to another GSM phone.

As far as the Porsche cell phone setup, I am not sure what they are providing. The excuse used to be that it only worked on GSM phones. Not such an issue any longer and they 'should' be designed to work in the US. Otherwise, why the heck put it in cars delivered to the US market...

  4. Master Loren, :help:

Krytox lubricant was recommended in a couple of Porsche's TSB for eliminating the rubber squeaking.  However, I could only locate Silicone lubricant in hardware stores.  Do they pretty much serve the same purpose?  The instruction for the Silicone lubricant does say so though.

    Your advise please!

    Thanks!

May help, but boy they are proud of it.

  5. I have a '99 986 - Can anyone tell me the possible reason(s) for codes P1125 and P1126 coming up at the same time? The car seems to be running fine but does smell like it's running a little rich. Is something (O2 sensor?) getting ready to fail? I live about 2 hours from the nearest dealer so I want to find out what's going on before I end up towing it there! Thanks!

Could be the air filter mugging up the MAF. Did you add that EVO High Flow Intake mentioned in your profile?
