  1. Does the leather housing still cover the B&M shifter just like the stock? Is there a particular B & M model#? Thanks for a great site Loren.
  2. 2002 C4S Standard Curious, who has installed a short shifter in a 996 2002 C4S 6speed standard and which one would you recommend and does anyone have photos of their finished install? I know some are taller/shorter etc. Thanks in adavance soutah C4S
  3. That is what I thought. Next purchase 480hp 997 turbo that should do the trick. Thanks soutahc4s
  4. 2002 C4S manual Does changing the stock plenum to an after market one give the engine any boost in noticeable performance and if so how much? Thanks southc4s
  5. Just want to show the forum my C4S and the newly installed Misha GT2M rear wing. Thanks Misha for a quality product. soutahc4s
  6. Thanks for all who replied to this post. Ride or looks is the question. soutahc4s
  7. I have a 2002 C4S coupe and looking to upgrade to the newer turbo wheels. I can get them in 18" or 19" I would just like some opinions on what to go with. I use this car as a driver it is not tracked. Thanks in advance southac4s
  8. I did check the owners manual. I was just looking for some opinions or experiences on the issue. Thanks soutahc4s
  9. I need an answer on running fuel with 10% ethanol? Will this hurt the engine? I have a 2002 C4S coupe and it requires 93 octane but in the U.S. at the pump where I live the highest is 91, but there is a station that sells 100 octane 10% ethanol fuel and I was going to blend this with the 91 to make the minimum 93 octane. I was actually going to blend to 95. My only question is the Ethanol going to be a problem and should I not worry about it? I know in some states and cities that 10% ethanol is mandatory certain times of the year. Thanks in advance for your help. SOUTAHC4S
  10. For a daily driver I am asking the forum what you would recommend for a daily driver tire. This has not and will not be tracked. I have a 2002 C4S with 18" wheels and P-zero's which are getting ready to be replaced I like the look and feel of the P-Zero but they are quite noisy. Thanks in advance :renntech: soutahc4s
  11. I have a 2002 C4S coupe with 18" turbo look wheels, I really like the look of the new turbo wheels which are as follows: Forged Alloy 8.5Jx19 ET 56 Front and 11Jx19 ET 51 Rear will these fit the 2002 C4S? Thanks southac4s
  12. 2002 C4S Coupe Does anyone on the forum have any exprience with the Misha GT2 rear wing. Looking for your comments about Misha's quality? Thanks in adavance soutahc4s
  13. I was told by my dealer that these brakes like to be used aggressively and just driving around town will tend to make them squeak for you are not really getting on them. 2002 c4s soutahc4s
  14. Thanks for all of your help on this wross996TT. You have been very helpful. soutahc4s
  15. MMT is not a leaded based product. It is just a way that refiners use to get Octane. Queston is do you know if VP contains MMT? Thanks
  16. This is regarding MMT in gasoline. The owners manual says not to run gas with MMT. Even though it says not to is it OK? I beleive it damages the catalytic converter? Does anyone know if VP has MMT in it? Thanks soutahc4s
  17. 2002 C4S coupe manual (only mod on engine is PSE) I know in the manual it says to run a minimum of 93 octane gasoline. Here in the western US most premium is only 91 octane. I have a place that is going to be putting in a pump site with 100 octane unleaded race fuel legal for the street. My question is should I blend the 91 with the 100 to make 93 or would I be just better off using the 100 octane straight. If your car is not built with the compression to take full advantage of the octane you are just throwing your money down the drain. Any help here would be great. I asked the dealer about 91 and he said it would be ok just a little loss in performance would not hurt the engine. Also, alot of race fuel gets the higher octane by using MMT in their blends. In the manual it says not to use gasoline with MMT in it. MMT supposedly damages the catalytic converter. Any advice on this also. Thanks for you help in advance SOUTAHC4S
  18. I had the same issue as mpikounis and just replaced the sending unit and everything was fine. Just as long as you don't get the red warning idiot light you are fine to drive. Just the sending unit. If the idiot like comes on you have a problem. southc4s
  19. I have been seeing advertisements about software upgrades for your car through the trade rags. Do these upgrades work and give horse power or do you need to add headers, pipe etc to realize anything and do they keep the cars reliability in check? Just wondering. 2002 C4S coupe, manual Thanks soutahc4s
  20. 2002 C4S with 45,000 miles with no problems. Had RMS issue 2 months after it was new in 2002 and no issues since. soutahc4s
  21. Your car looks great with the gt2 wing and aero kit. In your opinion, since I do not track my car, but is more of a daily driver. Would I be OK with the gt2 wing on my c4s without the aero kit on the front or sides of the car? Thanks soutahc4s
  22. That wing looks great on the c4s even without the aerokit all the way around. What is the retail price on the Misha GT2? Thanks for your input soutahc4s Mishas minimal site - http://www.996wings.com/ A DYI for the install - http://www.funcarsonline.com/gallery/album26 I think it sells for around $1200-1300 + a paintjob. Beware - it might look good on its own, but it generates lots of downforce. Without a frontwing you might get an ustable car at high speeds. Goes for most all rear wings. If you never drive above 65, then no problem ;-) Does anyone have any experience with this wing on a c2 or a c4s without the full areokit? How unstable did it make the car at high speeds? This car is not tracked it is for everyday driving just like the look of the wing. Thanks soutahc4s
  23. That wing looks great on the c4s even without the aerokit all the way around. What is the retail price on the Misha GT2? Thanks for your input soutahc4s
