  1. Just talked to the mechanic. Its the t pipe near the starter which is broken. The tubes close to the firewall are leacking too. Thats what made me a little bit angry. When car was in last time for replacing the starter they should check all this briggle tubes. My wish was always a good mechanic will see what to do and replace when one time there. But looks like this wish will be forever
  2. Found always some drops missing but could not locate the problem. Last week The car lost a lot of coolant while driving. Took it to my mechanic. Very curious what happend.
  3. As i remember the alternator of a cayenne s is not water cooled. I think this feature comes only with the turbo.
  4. Hello Ryan. I was surching arround in different places and i am concerned it could be the axle. Maybe a professional here at renntech can confirm it or giving advice how to test a bad axle. Thankx
  5. I had a klunking noise coming from right front when driving on bumpy roads. I thought it should be the lower control arm. I had i replaced some time ago. Nothing changed. Still the same. In which way i could find out what part is causing this? Any possibility to get the parts tested on the front suspension? Thank you for your input. Thomas
  6. I had 100% the same and couldnt find out. Sorry. My guess is we maybe bought the wrong antenna.

  8. Richard i operate already hours. Driving arround. Nothing. It isnt showing any satellite. Thats why i thought maybe the antenna is the wrong one.

  11. Hello again. I have a broken PCM 2.1 in my turbo (2005)which i need to give to repair. In the meantime i install the old PCM 2 from my cayenne s into the turbo. The connections seam almost the same. Except this unit has a additional blue fakra GPS / SAT plug. Radio working. CD working Navi is starting but it cant find my current location. No GPS Signal!? I bought a GPS Antenna from ebay. Connect it with the blue connection at the backside if the unit but still no signal. Can somebody help please. Thank you
  12. I didnt happen again with me. Just on this one day when it was very very hot. I guess its something with the tank vent valve. I have to give it to the shop in some days to check it
  13. Maybe someone can help. Here are 2 pictures. Caliper from my Turbo and my S. I wanted to change the wheels of both cars but i dont Know if it will fit. According my papers the BBS RX519 10,5 x 21 / Offset 52 fits to the turbo. When i have a look to the Turbos calipers i guess there Isnt enough Space. Maybe somebody knows how much more wide Are the turbo calipers comparing with the Cayenne S ones

  20. Hi Community Its unusual hot in germany. 102 outside. After driving a lot today the car starting to make trouble . Looks like some kind of missfire when i am going downhill. Coming to Stops the car died several times. Its was starting again but very hard. Must be something with fuel?! I noticed today that i isnt making "wooooosh" when i am opening the gas cap. Could it be related? Didnt have the Chance to check the Codes until now.

  22. Today my car was supposed to get an alligment Job. But like always a new surprise. The guy in the garage told me no reason to do it now because i need both cv Boots replaced. Left and right side are ripped and grease coming out. I just had the lower Control Arms replaced and looks like mechanic didnt even check the Boots. Replacement of the outer boots is a difficult Job? Happy to read your experience. Thank you
