  1. I've been told by a local porsche specialist and there is no new type seal is this correct, I've just found a later type double lip seal part number 99710121200 will this fit into a 2002 996 where it is advertised it says so,I'm not sure if the local specialist know his stuff.

  3. i'm looking at changing the rear main seal on my 2002 996 i have all the tools and access to a ramp,is this quite a straight forward job and is there any step by step guide to this job' i'm quite competant to do this job having worked fo a specialised mercedes benz truck dealer for the last 10 years.
