  1. Bank 1 cam sensor is on cilinder 1, not on the flywheel side
  2. I have a pst2, but would otherwise have bought durametic
  3. Porschelibrarian helped me out when I was searching for the updated 996 manuals. A very smooth transaction, I recommend his service.
  4. It is really easy to remove the mufflers and at least on my c4s there was no need to lower the engine. When mounting the passenger side muffler take care to connect the vacuum line before torqueing all bolts as it is really hard to reach once installed.
  5. A friend had similar problems with his c4s. It was ultimately diagnosed as a faulty master brake cylinder.
  6. Great write up! I might need to tackle this job myself shorthly. Only remarks is that the wsm states 100 degrees Celsius instead of fahrenheid.
