  1. Thanks for the reply. Are you familiar with the new PIAA H7 in 8000K. The guy on eBay claims perfect match for the Boxster's Xenon. There is also 6000K and ofcourse the more conventional 4100K adn 4000K found on PIAA US website. LAstly do you know whether Porsche's Xenons are 8000K?
  2. I own a 2002 Boxster with xenon lights and want to upgrade the fog lights (which are conventional ones) top xenon-type bulbs that match the color of lighting to those of the xenon and are also for better vision and lighting. Has anyone done that? If so what type of bulbs do I need? Has anyone used PIAA? Any instructions on doing so on my own? Thanks Thomas
  3. Hello, I have been having same problem (as that Paul had) with my 02 Boxster S and I am taking it to the dealer tomorrow. Thank you Paul and everyone else for the suggestions that would mention to the dealer to avoid extra work charged. Does anyone know how long is the warranty for the xenons? I bought mine in October 2001 (2002 model).
  4. A good aftermarket intake-headers-DME swap should yield 30-35HP for your 02S. This would probably be more cost effective than using genuine 987 parts. I think there was also an advancement in variable valve timing that went into the 987. Any suggestions of good aftermarket intake-headers manufacturers/ suppliers? Thomas
