  1. Would you make this mod again ? wife's worried about it being too loud -- I want more POWER ..... Sound be damned.. :-) anyway -- is it just a sound change or did you notice a power upgrade also -- I already have the other bolt on goodies from these people. Rob's a great guy -- not sure he's still there however. any opinions or help is appreciated.
  2. HI Guys, I am trying to debug my overheating issues on my '06 CTTS and want to read the misfire measure blocks on my Cayenne TTS -- unfortunately I only have a VAGCOM and don't have a labels file that is specific to my vehicle. I don't want to pony up for a Durametric either. All I need to know is the mapping numbers for the misfire measurements and I can pull them with my VAGCOM ? Can anyone provide that data ? BTW -- I only have a HEX-USB cable for the VAGCOM and I 've read that some fold are saying I need to connecdt PIN 3 to PIN 7 -- I don;t have those PINs on my ODBII connector. If any one has sucessfully fought the VAGCOM on Porsche cars battle , I would apprecaite a pointer to the data ? ( Which cable I need, what to short on the cable , what locations provide what data ? ) If these questions are non-lexical, please be nice when you correct me -- I'm just a nob looking for help.. In the end I want to make sure my coils are OK - - coils replaced at the dealer in '10, new plugs when I bought the car 6 months ago. It over heats when towing my boat and my dealer and I are both stumped -- nothing wrong that we can find. ( great guys at Niello - BTW) -- no codes showing misfires etc. All fans work to spec and ducting are OK -- t-stat seems fine but who knows. stable at 180 until under load. then ramps up quickly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Loren, you're a wealth of info on many topics ( you've helped me in the past wrt 964/986/911 issues ) -- any chance you have cayenne measure blocks documented somewhere ? Hint: I read that the RS6 uses the same Bosch Motronic 7.1.1 and those measure blocks are the same ? Thoughts ?
