  1. Does anyone have the DEPO/Dectane style of lights installed? I have only seen a few, but they look awesome... They really bring the rear end up to date... I'd love to see some pics as I am in the market for an upgrade.
  2. Well I'm done... The car is back together and running better than ever... I took the time to replace a few other worn pieces while I was in there as well. I thought I could knock this out in a day, and now that I know what I'm doing I certainly could, but it took me four. I also had to wait for parts... If anyone in San Antonio needs an AOS call Jones Autowerks, the AOS from them was only $113... The same part at Porsche San Antonio is $180+ I apologize for not being able to produce the vid, my friend that was going to assist in the project didn't come through... But if anyone in the San Antonio area needs this same repair, I can help you out with it... Let me know.
  3. Alright, 2 weeks ago I bought an '03 996 Cabriolet from a physician friend of mine... After driving it for two weeks I noticed a large puddle of coolant on the garage floor. The coolant leak was coming from the back drivers side of the engine (pics to follow) After researching this topic thoroughly over the weekend I am confident that I can execute his repair myself... But first, let me stress to everyone that I AM NOT A MECHANIC, nor have I ever attempted any "mechanics" except for oil & filter changes. There are some really great write-ups that gave me the confidence and know-how to tackle this job. I'll be sure to give credit where it is due when this proj is complete... About the only thing I didn't find was a video documenting the process step-by-step so I figured this would be an excellent opportunity to make one and provide it to our forum community. Here it goes... Step-by-step diy video instructions soon to follow!!!!
