  1. Hey, thanks for ur answer, PST2 latest version is 27, I did the upgrade lately :). anyway, as per dealer notification, porsche main does not impose the use of piwis on my dealer for the new cars, and they provide the latest dvd's for the pst2. I presume that PST2 should do allright. By the way, I was really curious to know what are piwis capabilities? or the pst2? The main role of these are diagnostic, and not intervention. Intervention is limited to change behaviour for different country setups. the only tunning I found on these machines is setting tiptronic aggressive or soft. coding keys. and seting sound alerts on or off, etc. I have seen the piwis info, and i must admit that it is more extensive for the new cars full stop. but enthusiasts who want to fine tune their cars with the piwis? not possible. You have hundreds of engineers who decided that your car should be what it is, why overide their judgement? at least they know better than us ... I hope..
