    Hello all, Looking for part number for X73 Suspension for 01 Turbo. Is this the significantly stiffer suspension with 30mm drop? I plan on 25% track and 75% street driving. Thank you. Anders

    I have been shopping for a 993/996TT for over a year, finally found one that was just right, I bought a '01 with low 20k miles, I had it PPI'd by 2 seperate PCA friendly Porsche dealers and checked out by some close friends (out of town buy). I paid low $60's including delivery, I found the initial ad for $78k. I absolutely love this car. You might as well figure in a 30k service as well, they will swap out the plugs for the new version as well as fluid changes and maybe brake pads. Costs vary, but the average seems to be around $1k for a 30k service. I also did a carfax, but would use that as a collaborative info, if something there is fishy and the PPI shows some problems, walk, no run away and shop around for another. eBay isnt bad, but be VERY cautious and do the financial/title transaction in person to save some potential pain. I found mine on Auto Trader and had a trusted friend do the transaction for me. I think my best advice is to be patient, which is easier said that done, but it really paid off for me shopping and waiting for the "right one". C. Anders '01 996 turbo
