  1. Driving home today, I couldn't get my '04 Cayenne Turbo to go past a leisurely pace. Jump on the gas pedal.... Sunday pace. I pulled up on it with my toe and pushed down and zoom! Got home and tightened the single torx tight. Question: how high should the accelerator be and if I step on it all the way in the new heightened position, will it break the accelerator servo?
  2. Figured it out myself. Took a day and some perspective and it was the easiest of the cooling T pipes to remove. I got off track in my thinking because someone tackled one of these pipes from below. Not me. To reach the leg of the cooling pipe running to the drivers side turbo, just reach around the back of the drivers side head with your left hand and with the other hand drop the hose clamp compressor down the right hand side. Your left hand will be there to intercept and apply the hose clamp compressor. Once the clamp is compressed, you can pry the cooling tube off that horizontal hard pipe with a long screw driver.
  3. Need help with the T's stuck between a block and a hard place. As part of the aluminum cooling pipe upgrade, I'm replacing the two plasticTee's on my 04 CTT. To make matters worse, they look great (in retrospect) except for the transverse cuts I made to increase the working room back there. Now there's no going back. Everything is out, but the hose and clamp on the drivers side that (I believe) runs to the drivers side turbo. It's the hose that's about 1/2 inch and connects to a horizontal hard line. I can see the hose clamp from the drivers side top and looking up from the bottom. But seeing is not enough. How do you recommend gaining access to this clamp? Please advise. Thanks in advance. Rob
  4. Thanks Spooltime, I completed the plug/coilpack switch. Drivability, indeed, improved! All symptoms of missing, fuel rich, etc., resolved. Immediate problems solved, now on to filters, fluids, and the cooling tube work.
  5. Replacing plugs (and coil packs) in a, new to me, 04 Cayenne Turbo. Using Beru Platin plugs. What gap should these be? If the gap out of the box is any indication it is .032 aka .081 mm. Please advise. Also FYI the replacement coil packs are numbered 948 602 104 20. The ones coming out of my car are 948 602 104 00. I gather they are the original coil packs. Thanks,, obb
