  1. Thanks for the tip. Is this process where the vehicle "learns" or is there a value that should be set.
  2. Thanks for sharing your experience. It is not re-assuring that the issue is not easily identified. I will follow with TSB and see if 1.1V is present so I can rule out MAF. The throttle plate cleaning appeared to help in my situation in the past so I may pursue that route. The only other thing I can imagine is a vacuum leak causing this to occur...... Especially when cold. Good luck!
  3. Thanks Loren! I'm not sure if this is the case but i will check the DME fault codes and see if anything is stored. The TSB is not crystal clear but it seems the MAFs may not be outputting proper voltage and cause rough idle. This would explain why it would exhibit rough idle on fairly stiff off-throttle and not from a crawl.
  4. 250kM/hr is 155MPH. This seems like a convenient speed limit for BMWs and others. I know you are not hitting the rev limiter but could the vehicle reach a speed limiter?
  5. I have a phenomenon that occurs under all conditions but is worse when cold on my 2005 CS.When coming to a stop at a speed faster than a crawl, the engine RPMs dip to 400 rpm on the tach and then recovers back to normal speed of about 500.I can hear the engine lug down a bit when it hits 400 but quickly recovers. This issue occurred a few years ago but was "fixed" at the dealer by cleaning the throttle plate. Before digging into the intake, I wanted to see if there was a definitive fix to this issue.Anybody else seen this?
  6. The offset is stamped next to the valve stem on the wheels. You will see a -9- on one side and another number on the other side. The 9 is wheel width and the second number is offset.
  7. I don't have pics on this machine, but it appears the offset looks like my Victor wheels that are 20x10 with a 50mm offset What is the offset of your Sport Technos? Are they 9" wide? Good looking ride!
  8. Just for widen tha rear track/improving the appearance. Can not be used together with all types of wheels. Just had them installed for all four 20" Sport Technos on 05 Cayenne TT. Appearance is much more aggressive and makes the wheels look absolutely perfect....not sure why this does not come standard since it's such an inexpensive part. My dealer mentioned that Porsche recommends that the spacers were not to be used with the Technos. I'm sure it pushes the wheels out toward the body edge too much for Porsche's comfort. I personally like the stuffed look. Here's a pic of my '05 CS with Victor LeMans wheels.
  9. Adding a dumb question to the great post....... With PASM, which ride height is used for alignment? Also, how is alignment maintained at all ride levels? I would think Camber and Toe would be severely affected by changes to ride height? Loren, awesome site you have here! Scott
