  1. nicely done! i put a southbend stage 5 dual feramic in my audi a4 after going to a big turbo. it was about a ten hour job as yours was (definitely could have been quicker if i had all the tools laid out), having the right tools can make all the difference for sure. It was funny when i was at the dealer getting the seal and the single use stretch bolts. They couldnt believe i was DIYing a clutch. They acted shocked, like it was impossible for the home mechanic. Not much to it actually. Just a lot of pain in the *** work and busted knuckles. Beer always eases that pain tho. I know ill be putting one in this car in a year or two. I want something that can handle launches pretty regularly.
  2. I had an 04 audi a4 ultrasport with just a few mods (stasis suspension, center diff, stage 5 clutch, gt30 series turbo running revo, stoptech brakes, FMIC, blah blah blah). Anyway, finally got around to getting a porsche last year. Scored an 06 997 S six speed black with tan interior which i loathed at first but the interior has really grown on me. I also got factory turbo wheels for it. Coming up on 34k and just trying to do a little research on oil, tranny fluid, brake fluid and brake pads (had ferodos on my last car and loved them). I see there is a gentleman who just did a 35k service which is what I am looking to tackle soon. I am open to any suggestions or advice and ill be sure to do some digging in the archives as well. The transmission is always a little unhappy till it gets warmed up so that's probably first on my winter project list. it seems OEM fluid is all that is recommended? a few old pics of me on the bike too. I know my form isnt good there, too quick of a transition to get down right.
