  1. The Cayenne has always been serviced at the dealer using only approved fluids. Now, due to the mileage, I plan to due more frequent services.
  2. I think I need to clarify my post, the transmission has seen all required maintenance during it's 214,000 mile lifetime. This was a question for now and future maint.
  3. I have a 2004 Cayenne S with 214,000 miles that has always had meticulous maintenance but yesterday a "Master Mechanic" advised me not to service the transmission if it is functioning normally, which it is. Should I continue to follow the recommended maintenance. His rational was the same old line, if it is not broke............ Thanks
  4. Thanks, I will follow up with the dealer and/or another shop
  5. 2008 997-1 - Manual I am beginning to feel like I can no longer drive properly due to the infrequent but very abrupt stalling I am experiencing. I know what the car feels like when it stalls from improper coordination and this is different. After it stalls (with a bang) the car is very hard to start and turns over very slowly. The battery is one year old and the car is my daily driver. Any thoughts or am I losing it? Jack
  6. I participated in a rally over the past weekend and found my speed and distance traveled to be 7% higher than the "official" rally data for the route. This was confirmed using my Garmin 2610 yesterday.
  7. Just curious, did you ever get this problem resolved. I have the same problem with my 1999 C4 w/38,000 miles. The dealer serviced the transmission and told me to drive it and basically forget it. The only solution they gave me was a new torque converted and pressure regulators Thanks Jack Bego
