  1. From what i've gathered the Durametric is the one to Get (and I will be getting one) giving you the Most possibilities to read and work with the codes. For something a little easier and usable on the go,I've been looking at this http://www.lemurmonitors.com. Wireless, can be kept in the car at all times and gives possibilities to monitor important data like fuel pressure,O2 values etc..can help isolate symptoms. I'm gonna give it a try.as I'm on an iPhone.
  2. Thanks loren. Ill try and look at the battery. Then try and clear the code. It might have been changed When they Did the alternator.
  3. I see there should have been a space there.. 0907 is the correct code. I've tried searching around and i've seen some say most cayennes have it.. Not to pay Attention to it. I have no other codes on the truck now (besides 0907)after I changed plugs/coils and cleared the codes from that ECU. My only guess is it's hanging from when previous owner had alternator issues . And the diagnostics tool we used, although professional, can't get to that code to erase it.
  4. Got hooked up with code reader today.indeed coils.. Had multiple misfires logged. Pulled three bad coils. None really showed signs of cracks or noticeable wear. Replaced all sparkplugs and coils.. Purrs like a kitten...and like new.
  5. I've started getting a jerking /twitch form the engine on startup and today while driving it became worse When putting load on the engine. The check engine light was coming on then going again.. I picked up three new coils as I knew previous owner changed only three 10k ago. After I changed them the engine light came on permanently and the engine is still twitching/jerking I'm getting a code reader on it tomorrow but are there any other things that would give same symptoms? It's an 05 V6. Any other hints to what I should look at are more then welcome.. I keep ending back at the coils..maybe sparkplugs also..
  6. Hi guys. Had a mechanic friend over last night with a professional diagnostics tool (Launch) And we Did a complete scan. I wanted to see if i had any coil codes as i sense a little strutter/Shake now and then at idle.. The car is new to me ,a week Old, and i LOVE it. So i want to Get it at full form. We pulled no codes for could but there was a0907 code. And we could not erase it. Would this fault cause any noticable symptoms? I have no displayed messages or lights suggesting fault on my dash and the car operates seemingly fine,a part from the stutter, I know previous owner changed alternator about 10k ago.. Could the 0907 hang from then? I've understood its electrical related battery/alternator etc.. Any addition info is appreciated.
