  1. If needed, the model # is R2896. Thanks so much! Try 7649 I tried it, but the 7 begins to flash after a few seconds and nothing else happens. Do I need to do anything other than punch in the numbers? What is the exact model name on the front of the radio? It should start with "PORSCHE xxx-xxx" where xxx-xxx is the model number. radio_removal.jpg It's a CDR 210 Please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ for the procedure. OK! By accident, I got it. The code number worked, but only after hitting the "station up" button - which isn't in the FAQ info - so now, all is well! Thanks so much.

  4. I'm needing the code to restart my radio in my '97 Boxter. The radio/cdr serial number is V5008478. Can anybody help me? Also, and definitely secondary, I can't get the cd player to play; it accepts (and ejects) the cd but nothing else. Any clues? If needed, the model # is R2896. Thanks so much!
