  1. Hi, Regarding the PET i have Access to, my 997.1 TT 2007 front diff have this part # 997 349 020 50. The one I have found have this # 997 349 020 51 and the seller claims it is removed from a 997.1 3.6 480 HP. He have no VIN to give me... What I have found, is that the front diff he have for sale, is from a 997.2... Anyone knows if it will fit and can be used with my car? I have also found that both 997.1 and 997.2 driveshaft flanges have the same part #, which is a good start:) Thanks
  2. I got another second hand PASM module and have been driven the car a couple of weeks without any fault messages, so it seems everything is ok now
  3. Had my car at my Porsche dealer for coding, and they told me that the second hand PASM module I bought is defective as it will not communicate with the other control units... I ordered another one today and hope this one is ok:)

  5. Hi, I replaced my PASM module with a second hand module from an US car. My car is a Euro spec. I now get C156: Communic. PASM control unit (drive) from PSM, Instrument cluster and Gateway modules. Is the second hand unit faulty, or does it need to be coded? Did never had that fault code with my previous module... Thanks

Thanks Loren, I think I expressed myself wrong, but as far as I could see in the relay holder, the power to the secondary air pump is coming from the secondary air pump relay (relay 10) and the power that is supposed to feed the relay is coming from the maxi fuse. Where does the +12V to the maxi fuse/relay coming from/connected to? Directly from the battery/starter? As far as I remember it was a thick brown wire about 4.0 mm2, but I could remember wrong... Thanks

  12. (you should never store one of these cars with the suspension hanging, very bad for the struts). . Will it be ok to store it if the wheels are removed as there is less weight for the struts? I was planning to store my 996TT for about 3 months in a lift until I read this... Thanks

  14. Thanks for your reply I have had this dyno since 2007 and are very impressed with back to back tests. Can easily see if that + or - 1 degree of timing gives more power or not. No wheel spin, very silent, very safe since the car can not fall off, no discussions like "you strapped the car so tight thats why I have got so little power..." etc. I am very happy with the unit, but I havent used other brands for tuning, so I can not comment on that. Do you think it will work with my 996 TT as a 4wd, or is it likely that I will damage the viscous? I have done other 4wd cars with viscous with no problems, but have not tested the 996 yet, because of things I read a while back regarding the issues on a 993 on a hub dyno. I just bought the 996 TT some months ago and I dont wont to destroy it on the dyno...
  15. Hello! Is it possible to dyno a 996 TT on a Dynapack AWD hub dyno? Reason I ask is that I am afraid to destroy the viscous as I have heard that the 993 dont like Dynapack dynos. Anyone know if it possible without remowing the front driveshaft? Thanks Ben Stian
