  1. At first I thought maybe I was just noticing it more because I was looking for it, but then confirmed it was really getting worse as I was tracking which areas had it and which did not and areas that had it were getting worse. The good news is also that it was confirmed to be the sealant being too thick (good call AWDGuy). An area was buffed that had some of the worst discoloration and it was gone. The detailer was shocked at just how thick it was and it took quite some time just to do a small area. The discoloring was probably due to it being so thick that sealant underneath even more
  2. Any thoughts why it is continuing to get worse? It is as if some catalyst is causing it to appear each day in a new spot and previous spots to get worse... the sun?
  3. Oops... its called cilajet... not cilijet. The car does have a nice mirror-like shine... which I would trade any day to not have these spots that keep appearing

The GM stated they applied a paint sealant called "cilijet" (which I did not sign up for). When I brought it back to the dealership they applied more without consulting me first and viola... its worse. Any factory paint issue would have showed up by now so

They are not noticeable in direct sunlight or when it is dark outside, but quite noticeable during twilight hours. It kind of resembles a thin "oil slick light refraction" appearance or residual soap though I only use Meguairs products to wash and then rinse thoroughly... only in the shade with the car cool. I have been to several body shops and they shrug their shoulders offering all different kinds of theories. The place I got it from
