  1. Solved this issue on my 2004 CTT last summer. I used a brake bleeder pump (similar to the picture below) to diagnose the leak. I disconnected the pipe going to the brake booster pump and connected it to the bleeding pump. When depressing the bleeding pump I was not able to build up any vacuum in the brake booster system. That test confirmed me that there was indeed a leak. When no leak is present you should be able to build up and keep a vacuum in the system. A visual inspection did not allow me to properly locate the leak, so I did a smoke test. I didn't had a professional smoke generator at hand but I had a pack of cigarettes. By blowing smoke in the hose disconnected from the brake booster pump, I was able to correctly identify where the leak was. I used JBweld the seal the leak and did another vacuum test with the bleeding pump to confirm the repair was holding on. I never had the "brake booster failure" code in the cluster since then.
  2. Yes, no problem with both service reminders and the oil reset, I actually just did my second oil reset yesterday and it worked perfect, took all of 30 seconds maybe. The Icarsoft diagnostic tool you seem to use (the one on the picture) is the PORII. Glad to see it works great for you and hat you can reset service reminders on your 958. As for the older Icarsoft diag tool, the i960, I don't think it can reset any service reminders. Mine doesn't or I don't how to use it ;-) A couple of months back, I contact Icarsoft customers' service about the PORII "service reminders" reset capabilities. I was told the PORII would reset reminders on 957s and 958s but not on 955s. If anybody had successfully reset reminders on a 955 with a PORII, please share your experience.
  3. @ STV : I am using an i960 on my 2004 CTT and the only modules I can access are DME, Tiptronic, ABS and instrument cluster. All the other modules cannot be accessed and I also get the "unable to communicate with vehicles ECU" message when I try to. Looks very similar to your experience. Very disappointed...
  4. @958S : Have you been able to reset the "service reminder" with your i960?
  5. Just ordered a new screen for 120 USD. I will post the results when installed.
  6. @Ekstroemtj - At 120 USD, it seems like a pretty good bargain. Would you have a reliable supplier to recommend?
  7. Anybody ever experienced stuck pixels or screen discoloration on a PCM 2.0? We had very cold nights in the last weeks (0 to -20 Fahrenheit) and I noticed a discolored spot appeared on my PCM 2.0 at that time. Doesn't seem to get bigger or smaller overtime. Any clues on a fix beside replacing the screen? Ride is a 2004 CTT. TY
