AC Condensation on Feet

Recommended Posts

On a very hot and humid day with the top down and AC blasting in my 2001 Boxster S, I had water dripping onto my feet and it appeared to be on the passenger's side as well. I have read a few previous threads regarding rain water in that area, but none on the AC condensation.

Has anyone else had this problem? Might I be incorrect, and it is coming from another source? How can I correct this?

Thanks,

VROOOM

All condensors take water out of the air ... be they house a/c units or car. It has to go somewhere is the drain is clogged.

If you don't have the repair manual and air gun and such, then get thee to someone who does ....dealer or a/c specialist.

I live in Miami and during the summer when it is muggy I experience the same thing, condensation around the AC vents and a couple of drops on my feet. There definitely is water on the ground from the AC, I would be worried if there wasn't. Can't do anything about the humidity so I don't think it is a big deal.
