Spoiler Failure...

Recommended Posts

Hi All.

My pal has a limited edition 50 years of the 550 Spyder. Everytime we start it up, all the warning lights extinguish. Then when we press the spoiler raise button, we get an error message after 5 secs.

It reads : "Spoiler Control Failure"

Also, when we drive above about 5km/h, we get a ABS/PSM error message.

Are the problems related?

I tried pulling out the rear spoiler fuse (which is also the rear bonnet fuse) and I still get that Spoiler Control Failure message. I did swap relays 3 and 9 on the rear trunk too. No effect.

Where else should we look?

More info. Car got flooded before. We bought a new alarm ECU and had the dealer code it. Now everything work except for the rear spoiler and the ABS/PSM light once above 5 km/h.

Thanks!

Sprint.

Does the spoiler raise and lower with the switch or does it not move at all? I would get a test light and check all of your fuses, when the Immobilzer control unit takes a dump due to water damage all kind of wierd fuses can blow.
