I have a couple of questions regarding wheels on a 996 C2. I have a bent rear wheel and am looking at replacing it since I have already had it sent out for straightening without success. Has anyone had any experience with buying non Porsche replica wheels? I use the car for DE events and am concerened that aftermarket replacement wheels won't hold up to the stress at the track. Also, does anyone have any experience at increasing rim width/tire size on this type of car? If so, how wide can you go without having clearance issues, and what rim width and offset/ spacers did you use?
