Porsche boxster aluminum - wood shift knob

Recommended Posts

If you want a factory black one, try http://www.autoatlanta.com Great folks, I live 10 minutes away (which is dangerous) and they have good pricing...I think the part number is G996 426 069 05 EKQ

If they dont have one I'll sell you mine, I replaced mine with a 2000 style.....

If you want the wood/alum then the part # is g986 424 981 01 and they seem to have it....

My dealer has them, Suncoast Porsche. Their phone # is 941-923-1700, ask for Ryan. Tell him Tom with the black Boxster sent you.

I just replaced my factory installed carbon fibre knob with an aluminum TechArt which I like a lot better. I'll add a snapshot of it tomorrow, it looks really sweet.

I forget where I ordered mine now, heh, but they've been a VW place forever and I guess now they've gotten into VW stuff. I misplaced the receipt after a Superbowl party. It was $399, I love the feel of the knob, plus it looks cool.

Speaking of TechArt stuff, I was at the drag strip last night, a guy with another Boxster was there, last night was cool, there was a twin turbo V12 Mercedes and a Ferrari 308, anyway, the guy with the other Boxster has the TechArt springs for his car, it lowers it and stiffens it but not too much to create a too stiff ride. He said the handling is dramatically improved, I'm going to do those springs in my car too.
