Replacement Pedals?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2004 S (550 Anniversity Edition) and would like to replace my factory pedals. I am looking at Rennline and Ultimate Pedals. Does anyone have any comments, recommendations, experience with either of these products, installation problems, etc.? Thanks!

i also have a 550 SE :)

you can search the archives here, at babblers.org, orppbb.com for many reviews of aftermarket pedals

my main installation tip is that the brake pedal is very hard

get a new drill bit from home dept, and place tape on the brake area so you can mark where to drill

make sure the area on the underside of the pedal is clear so you can place the nut there (there are fins on the underside of the pedal)

use needlenose pliers to hold the nut while you are screwing from the top
