Recommended Posts

I am switching from the factory rubber to the Aluminum foot rest and can't quite figure out how to remove the stcok rest. I saw a picture in a previous post about plastic nuts behind the rest, but cannot find a way to ge to them. Any help

George gave me the info on removal if anyone is interested.

Pry from below with a screwdriver, and it will slide off of its tabs to the top.

FWIW, I replaced my plastic rest with the Porsche matching aluminum rest. Looks better, but for $160.00 I was disappointed at the quality, still mostly plastic with a little aluminum showing through.

Do you mean to pry the pedal straight up or outward. Still nervous I'm going to bust it. I want to do the same replacement, it bugs me that the dead pedal does not match the others. It must now look better even though it's mostly plastic.
