There is a difference in MY02 cars and 2002 purchased cars. Model year 2002 were produced until end of July 2002. A couple of Model year 2003 cars were produced in the last run before the shut down in August 2002. Then in late August 2002, the transition was made to Model Year 2003 cars which include the MOST bus and would take a PCM2 which you have seen the instructions for on the site. Easiest way to check is if you have the multi colour in RPM display which is a higher definition display with options for radio station, OBC etc. that is MY 03. So you may have a MY03 car, even though it was first sold in 2002. If you do, then PCM 2 is the way to go for a factory look. If you have a 2002 MY01 car, sorry that would be PCM 1 which is not that good, and has only very out of date mapping and not worth installing, in that case, go for an aftermarket system. Hope that helps!
