It is time to buy new tires. So after a research on this forum I found that most of you guys like Michelins PS2.

I found on tire rack couple other options, but anyway I end up with Michelins PS2 or ..... Yokohama AVS Sport.

Yokohama look really nice and they have a lot good reviews + good wet traction.

My car is Boxster '99. I'm living in FL. I didn't track yet, but i'm thinking about DE and Autocross, maybe once, maybe twice a year.

So I'm really confused right now which one to buy. Prices of these two brands are similiar.

Help, maybe you've got something else.

Thanks

Im almost due for a tire change, was thinking of going with the Good Year F1 GS-D3's

Great reviews on tirerack and excellent wet traction, though their not Porsche N rated although their much better value for money than the yokies and michelins.

I was looking for answer everywhere and ....

I decided I'll go with Yoko AVS Sport. I ordered front 225/40/18 and 265/35/18 rear.

They already arrived, so I'm going to balance and mount them tomorrow. Wow, I can't wait. I'm like a baby now.

Plus they looking really awesome.

P.S. I was also thinking about goodyears but ....

My friend had Yokos and he was very happy with them.

I read the reviews but only from other P-car users.

Check this:

Yoko AVS Sport - P-car users Review

I know there are better tires. I just wasn't sure, which ones. There are so many tires out there. And funny thing is they all good.

I think it depends on what you driving (FWD, RWD, 4WD) and how you are driving.

Anyway it's too late now. Tires arrived.

Thanks
