  1. Hi all I have a 2004 cayenne s which i just had my car serviced at the local porsche dealer recently, and ever since ive been noticing problem after problem occur About a week ago the airbag warning light popped up on the dash which i thought was just a corroded connection under the seat, then just yesterday i found out my horn had stopped working as well and is making a clicking noise when depressed. Then on my way home from work last night i noticed the stereo simply wouldnt turn on, which seems to have resolved its self this morning.. Could these problems be linked? Is there an easy fix to the horn issue? The porsche centre arnt that helpfull at resolving the issue as they want to leave me stranded with no car for an entire weekend. Its amazing that all these problems seem to occur just weeks out of your warranty period, not to happy though as i just had the service and im about to fork out for 4 new tires, brakes Any help on these probs would be great Cheers
  2. Thats my only problem with porsche, there in car luxuries are yesteryear compared to bmw or mercedes, fair enough they focus on "performance" but it wouldnt kill them to put a decent practical head unit in there cars for once.
  3. Sounds like lack of charge in your battery, check the volt meter. I have my Cayenne in for a service today, whole list of little gremlins there replacing, including the rear badge as they recon it "corrodes" Should of got a Toureg :S
  4. From memory on the rear of the badge, there are numbers on both left and right with black dots on them, check if they match your current gold badge. From what I could make out I think its year allocation.
  5. Hehe not wrong about temporary :) From everything ive read and heard, Dubai is quite an amazing place You can pick up a Lamborghini Gallardo over there for roughly the same price a Boxster S costs here :o
  6. hahahha your right, you know I didnt even realise!
  7. Just sold my 01" Boxster S I'm moving to Dubai in a couple of months, hopefully to bigger and better things :) This part hurts :( Thank you Renntech for all your help in the past, made the sale process so much more painful as I knew so much about the car lol Anyone have any similar photos to share the pain of them selling there much loved toys? Cheers
  8. Think of it as a safety buffer when you go through speed camera's All cars are a little off showing 3 - 5km faster, its a good thing i recon.
  9. Strange my 01" S says 96 RON under the fuel cap I have never used anything less than 95 Ron mainly due to 98 not being available, worked ok i guess, didnt really notice any fuel economy or power decrease.
  10. Thx Charleston Sounds about right, I'll pull it out and have a look at it Gets annoying after a while Cheers :)
  11. Glad they sorted it out with no hassle, the porsche dealer in my town is good like that as well Ultimately your paying for that service so its to be expected :)
  12. Mine were pritty messed up to, stealer quoted me $37 - $40aud a flap  So I unscrewed them, epoxied the cracks and tears, now there good as new and doing what there designed to do.
  13. Are you talking about that circular cutout? I cant see any problem placing your computer there, just keep an eye on it during summer as it gets fairly hot in there
  14. I believe im getting both the door rattle and a highly annoying squeek behind me which sounds like rubber squeeking Im about to go through and spray some silicone lube to see if i can nail it, has anyone else pin pointed the squeek in the roof? As for the door, its like a ticking noise when you hit bumps on the road, less noticable than the roof though.
  15. Check here http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=13893 good for a gain in induction noise but thats about all
