New porsche owner in need of help

New to forms with a few question.

I just purchased a 98 Boxster (my first Porsche) and the Check engine light has now come on, code po1539, I took it in to an independent Porsche shop and they diagnosed it as a bad camshaft adjustment solenoid. I replaced the Solenoid and I still have the code. The Car seems to run fine so I am thinking it must be the camshaft position sensor. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Also how hard would it be to swap a 3.2 boxster S engine in to my car?

It would be cheaper to purchase an S than put a 3.2 in the boxster, you'd also need to upgrade breaks/suspension ect...

Especially when it comes to resale value.
