Airbag light

just took the passenger door panel off, via shop manual instructions, to locate a door rattle and after replacing the door panel, the airbag light stays on. I took the panel off a second time to check the plug to make sure it make a proper connection and it was tight.

Is this some kind of a code that I need to have cleared?

thanks, I was afraid of that...but now I also need the radio code...so much for doing one thing and causing two more problems...at least it's fun work...

You have to find someone with a durametric tool or goto the dealer to have that airbag light turned off... OBDII scanners cannot do this.
