Hello, I just got my 2000 Porsche 911 cabriolet C2 today and I can't figure out how to use the stock premium audio CD changer. I have no manuals and I haven't been able to get any CD to play by pressing buttons. First of all, I assume that the CD's go in with label on the top? I tried putting the first one in upside down to see if that would make any difference but it didn't.

The only button that gives me anything relating to CD is labeled "S" and when I press it once, it says "No CD".

I'm not sure if the thing doesn't work or if I just don't know how to use it.

Here is what the dash looks like with the stereo and 4 CD slots in it.

The four CD slots under your radio are for storage only.

The upper right button on your radio will open the faceplate of your radio. There you will find the slot for CD's to be played one at a time. Load them with the label up.

You can download a manual for your radio from the Becker website.

LOL, I'm a moron. :P

I saw that the pushing the middle of the radio made the faceplate tilt open. I thought it was some weird theft prevention thing. I thought I had a 4-disc CD changer. Haha.

Thanks, I'll go try that now and I'll look to see if I can find the manual on the website you mentioned (this is my first time here - it was recommended by a friend).

:D OMG...I had the best laugh ever! Hahaha...but no worries,

that's what we are all here for, to ask, share, and to learn.

I'm glad you got that sorted out.

Oh btw...I'm trying to change out my 4-disc changer for a simple upper storage tray.

Anyone wants to buy my changer for cheap? :P

Sorry Monkeydust...just having some fun messing with ya! :jump:

Welcome to the forums!
