Replacement Transmisison for Cayenne S

Recommended Posts

All I have a 2003 Cayenne S with 29,500 miles on it. I just recently had the Tip CU replaced and updated to resolve harsh shifting. That fixed the problem, now my transmission is slipping out of gear as though it is going into Neutral and then dropping back into gear. This is not happening al the time. Porshce has authorizedthe dealer for them to replace the Transmission.

Has anyone had their transmission replaced? If so, how is the new transmission performing?

I would also like to know was it a remanufactured or brand New transmission.

Thanks

I had mine replaced (04) with an 05. They also had to change a lot of control boxes until they had a matched set. Mine has been fine since and it was much better.

Thank You. I was told that all the transmissions are remanufactured with new updates. I hope I do not have anymore issues.
