Agressive boost

I have a problem “doubt” with some changes I made on my car, it is a 996TT with Gemballa tunning (550 HP) , K24 turbos. I was getting with OEM waste gates 0,9 boost smoothly on all gears, now I did some changes :

1. Installed new Plenum from Automotion (performance parts) with 75mm TB

2. New Air System from EVO

3. New waste gate kit from EVO

Now as a result I have a setup of 1,0 boost but the strange thing is I go to 0,4 boost directly when I press on gas until aprox 3500 rpm, at that point I hear a roaring sound and it launches the car to 1,0 boost .

My question is if this is right or I can damage the car that way, I got information from a fellow member that with the K24 turbos he was getting 1,2 boost at 3000 rpm

This is his result:

If i can tell you my experience, when you will have 1,3 bar at 3000-3500 RPM, 1,1-1,2 from 3500 to 5000 rpm, and again 1,2 at 6000 rpm with some peaks of 1,3 in the last rpm, with original internal engine parts, your car is near to be perfect.

Should I rise boost or what suggest are out there?

Did you check for boost leaks? If the sound you hear isn't the engine or muffler, it could be air escaping. If your boost is steady (low) or starts to decrease, it could be a boost leak. At a certain point, the engine will make more air than it leaks out and boost will start to build again. You should get a real boost gauge with memory function so you can review the boost curve afterwards.

I had similar problem and found out later that my boost hose was leaking -- the end cap started to come off the rubber hose.
