Dealer informed the front rotors had little time and the pads where not far behind. I figure if I have to replace the rotors on my own $ why not get something different.

Has anyone replaced their rotors if so which rotors did you get? Are OE the recommendation, I am guessing Porsche stayed away from the drilled ones on the Cayenne for a reason.

Anyone using EBC brake pads?

I believe that Cayennes (all models) don't have either cross drilled or grooved rotors is that debris can get in between the rotor and brake pad when the vehicle is off road.

If you have no intentions to go off road, you could consider cross drilled or grooved rotors.

Check out either BrakeWorld.com or BrakeWarehouse.com.

Also, I highly recommend cryogenically treating the rotors - this process will increase the life of the rotors 2x to 3x. Here is who I've used to "cryo" rotors for other cars - CryoScience.com
