What Are The Options For A Front Spoiler On A C2?

Recommended Posts

I own a 2001 996 C2 and I have added a rear spoiler to it. I have been looking for a additional front spoiler to add to it but the field looks dismal. At this time I would prefer not to replace my whole bumper and I am asking for ideas.

Thank you for any ideas or help.

Paul

I did not want to replace the whole bumper either and the lips that attach to the bottom I found were either fiberglass (break too easily), ugly, or uber-expensive.. I went with the '02 GT3 lip, see the write up here >>>> '02 GT3 Front Spoiler Lip Install

Here is a pic of my 996 with it installed

Cost was around $250 shipped... very easy install too. Not sure how much difference it makes by itself since I added the MKII side skirts and rear spoiler the same day...

I did a Getty Design (gettydesign.com) "Aero Splitter" that makes a stock bumper look like a GT3 without changing the bumper. The quality and fit was great. It required very little prep at the body shop (save $'s). I highly recommend it if you like the look and want to go add on rather than replace.
