Carpet peeling up in Cayenne

Recommended Posts

Has anybody had a problem with the carpet coming up in the their Cayenne? In my 2004 it is coming up in a few places. It is refusing to stay down around the base of the driver's seat. It is also coming up on the sides of the transmission hump, where it covers some kind of a little rubber plug. It is sticky on the back, and when I push it down it stays for a little while and then pops back up. I tried velcro strips to hold it down, but I can't get them to stick to the back of the carpet.

I was thinking I'd ask my dealer about it. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Are you still under a warranty? If yes, let the dealership fix. If not, a good contact cement will be your best friend.

I am still under warranty. I just thought I'd see if anybody else had that problem.

Thanks for the response.
