GT3 seat install in 997

Recommended Posts

I've ordered a set of 996 GT3 seats, & will be having them installed in a couple of weeks. My understanding is that once they are installed, the car will throw an airbag error & that the error can be canceled and/or the light can be disabled with a PIWIS tool. I've lined up a mechanic who has PIWIS, but would like to understand exactly what will need to be done. I'm assuming it is just a matter of canceling the light, but can anyone provide any more detailed information?
