Hi,

Does anyone know who makes the window glass for the 2005 Cayenne S?

Are all of the windows made by one company?

Asking b/c I plan on buying a 2005 CS. Carfax shows no accidents for this car.

I noticed that all the glasses on the windows are made by one company, but the front windsheild is made by Guardian.

Is this normal? Or is this fixed up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Most likely it got replaced with aftermarket windshield. 05 CS got a replacement windshield from the dealer when they scratched it by accident.

Maybe you should research if that "Guardian" replacement is up to standards.

All the side windows in my 2004 CS are "SEKURIT" while my windshield is Guardian. It has not been replaced - it is factory original.

Thank you all for the information. The 2005 CS has all side and rear windows "SEKURIT" while the front windshield is "Guardian."

If everything else goes well, I'm gonna buy it!

Thanks again!
