Received rubber floor mats for the Pepper for Christmas. Went to install, and the fastener is round, not the oval shape. The mats came with the right fasteners, anyone know the trick to remove the round factory ones? Don't want to sstart ripping away if there is any easy route.

I had the same issue with my rubber mats. The round fasteners are two pieces, like the new oval ones. They pop apart with a little force - I used a screwdriver to simply pry it open. Once you pop a couple of them apart you'll get the hang of it. It isn't hard.

Dennis, thank you very much. I have had issues before where I pried stuff apart and then broke it, and then found out there was a really simple trick.

I know what you mean. If there is a simple trick - I missed it! The screwdriver did the trick. With all the snow and slush we got here today, the rubber mats have been a good investment.
